Window Repairs

The most common problems with windows are:

  • Hinges – has your window gone draughty? You may need a new pair of hinges
  • Mechanisms – has your window locked shut, or can’t you lock it? You may need a new mechanism
  • Handles – has your handle fallen off or have you lost your keys? A simple and cheap handle replacement is required

  • Broken/failed glass - tilt and turn – new mechanism and realignment

Door repairs

The most common problems with doors are:

Dropped doors – is your door catching? Hard to lock? This requires a simple realignment and will prolong your locking mechanisms life span.

  • Locking mechanisms – your locking mechanism usually fails if your door needed realigning but you put it off! A new mechanism is required.
  • Hinges – we can also replace your broken and worn hinges
  • Keys – is your key stuck in the lock? This is easily repairable

Patio repairs (sliding, tilt and slide, French door, bi-folding door)

The most common problems are:

  • Sliding – rollers have failed or are catching so the door is hard to push
  • Tilt and slide – the door won’t lock as it is out of alignment
  • French door – dropped
  • Bi-folding door – not locking properly, needs realigning due to wear and tear?
  • Keys – is your key stuck in the lock? This is easily repairable

ALL of the above problems are actually avoidable if the door is well maintained!

Conservatory Repairs

The most common problems with conservatories are:

  • Leaks – slipped polycarbonate panels? Incorrectly installed lead-flashings? Tie-bars not being installed, thus causing the roof to push away
  • Polycarbonate upgrade to glass or re-roof
  • Leaking gutters/joints
